Explanation of Meets and Fees:

 

The meet/entry fees go towards the delivery of that specific event, whether we are the host team or not. 20% of all fees go straight to our LSC Mid Atlantic Swimming, which also sets the price at $10 per event. In the case where we are hosting the meet, the additional income would go towards facility rental, facility usage costs, and hospitality.  

 

The admission cost is $10 per swimmer for the entire meet. We do not charge per session or day at the door. This $10 is set by Mid Atlantic Swimming. We collect it this way to avoid our staff/volunteers handling a great amount of cash at these events.  Outside the Mid-Atlantic LSC, meet event prices can fluctuate between $10 and $20 per event, with additional per-swimmer surcharges. This information is always available in any official meet information posted on the meet sign-up.

 

 

Training Fees, Meet Fees, Team Travel Fees, Etc.: 

Swim Meet Fees, Team Travel, and Team Events are not included in Training Fees [Season Total] and will be invoiced and itemized before the end of each month, with charges applied on the 1st.

Training Fees

Training Fees are the recurring payments that are charged on the 1st of each month per your swimmer’s roster squad. 

Training Fee payments continue based on your swimmer’s roster squad payment schedule:  9 months, 10 months, or 11 months. 

Annual squads [11-month payment plans] include summer programming; 

Winter/Spring squads [9-month & 10-month payment plans] do not.

9-Month Payment Plans: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May. The last payment for the season will be May 1st, 2026. 

10-Month Payment Plans: September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June. The last payment for the season will be June 1st, 2026. 

11-Month Payment Plans:  September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, July. The last payment for the season will be June 1st, 2026. 

 

Swim Meet Fees

Swim Meet Fees are usually between $10 and $20 per event, and an admission fee per swimmer is also typically included.

 Swim meet fees are non-refundable. 

Once we submit Wahoo's entries to a host team, swimmers who have committed to the meet are obligated to pay the meet fees for their entries. Please ensure you adhere to the deadlines to commit to the swim meet. Once payment has gone out to the host team, you are obligated to pay those fees. 

You will pay your meet fees on the first of the month after they are posted to your Wahoos account. For example, if a meet occurs in mid-November, the meet fees will be invoiced after the meet takes place and charged to your credit card, along with your training fee dues, on December 1st.

It’s essential to remember that twenty percent of all swim meet fees go directly to Mid-Atlantic Swimming. 

 

 

Team Travel Fees 

 

During the course of the year, your swimmer may be invited to participate in Team Travel. For swimmers in the National Squad at both Mount Laurel and GCIT, team travel is required. Depending on the meet, Team Travel may include transportation (such as van, bus, or airplane), accommodations (including hotel assignments and blocks), meals, activities, and staffing. Team Travel [Overnight] is for swimmers 13 & Over only. 

This information will be sent to the qualified swimmer families, along with a deadline to attend, by Team Travel. Team Travel expenses will be itemized and invoiced to accounts, with charges due on the 1st of each month. 

Team Travel Meets example: Pittsburgh Invite, Junior Nationals, Futures Championships, Senior Championships, and Olympic Trials/World Trials, etc. 

IF ATTENDANCE AT A DESIGNATED TEAM TRAVEL MEET IS IN QUESTION, YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR SWIMMER’S COACH VIA EMAIL TO DISCUSS. 

 

ANY COMMUNICATION BEING SENT AFTER THE TEAM TRAVEL DEADLINE  WILL BE LIABLE FOR ALL CHARGES. 

Staffing Fees

Staffing fees will be applied when necessary, in conjunction with the level of meet and the required staff, based on the number of swimmers in attendance. 

The fees go directly to staffing the meets and the expenses that are incurred to do this. This is for the majority of our part-time staff. Staffing fees are per athlete.
